Then of course you have the moment all New Yorkers have been waiting for – the NJ return of the original Misfits lineup! It’s no surprise I’ll be in attendance. Although I already experienced the Danzig-fronted reunion at Riot Fest, there’s definitely something special about a homecoming show. Not to mention, the lack of festival atmosphere only gives us more of an opportunity to party hard – Can you say Tailgating?!

Here’s a little insider tip for my Sinners: Live Nation has announced they’re bringing back National Concert Week where certain tickets will be released for only $20 for a limited time. Rumored participating artists include:

311 / The Offspring
Avenged Sevenfold / Prophets of Rage
Bush / Stone Temple Pilots / The Cult
Def Leppard / Journey
Foreigner / Whitesnake / Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening
Godsmack / Shinedown
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Ozzy Osbourne
Paramore
Poison / Cheap Trick
Rob Zombie / Marilyn Manson
Rod Stewart / Cyndi Lauper
Styx / Joan Jett and the Heartbreakers
The Smashing Pumpkins
Weezer / Pixies

Last but not least, Rocks Off is your go-to headquarters for getting the party started before you even get to the show! Check out their listings of available Party Bus transportation to and from your next Metal and Punk show:

  • The Misfits – Prudential Center
  • Slayer, Lamb of God, Behemoth, Testament – PNC
  • Ozzy Osbourne – Jones Beach

They’re also the ones responsible for this sweet punk event at Brooklyn Bazaar:
