No, it’s not COVID Fatigue or DĂ©jĂ vu. It’s National Donut Day … again!

According to usatoday.com “Today’s celebration of donuts appears to be created as a marketing observation, but the June 5 day of celebration was created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who brought soldiers doughnuts in World War I, according to NationalDayCalendar.com“.
No matter the reason, we don’t mind celebrating this holiday twice a year. Mermaid Eats headed over to her closest Donut Pub location for a box full of sugary goodness!
