A city full of voodoo culture, breathtaking mausoleums, and southern inspired food. Most Sinners would agree that New Orleans, Louisiana is a place dear to our dark hearts. Cooped up at home due to the pandemic, a lot of NYC Goth Kids are missing the city of vampire legends. Luckily, Mermaid Eats found the perfect solution right across the Verrazano in Staten Island.
The Bayou Restaurant is locally owned and operated, serving up NOLA dishes such as fresh mussels and crawfish cakes with a kick. With matching décor and music, you’ll feel like you’re making a pit-stop on Bourbon Street.

Here’s what Gina had to say about Bayou’s Sunday Brunch:

The food is off the hook and service is amazing. Jon’s favorite are the lamb chops. They literally fall off the bone!
