You might remember the Pyramid Club closing pre-pandemic; making a comeback and then closing again during the pandemic. Maybe it’s the Mandela Effect but the Pyramid Club announced on their Instagram that they’re closing their doors (again?!). We don’t need an excuse to celebrate Halloween at the legendary club do we?

“After many glorious years of being part of the East Village community, we will be closing our doors at the end of the month after our final party. Local foodies are probably familiar with the weekend food market, Smorgasburg. They’re closing off the 2022 season with a Halloween Party. This annual event brings hundreds of dogs and their humans to Washington Square Park to compete for fame and prizes. The first 100 dogs to preregister get a fabulous treat bag! Free to attend, $20 donation to register your dog to compete.

Green-Wood Cemetery

Long after Green-Wood’s gates close to the public, explore its historic grounds under the cover of night. You’ll weave through the Cemetery’s stunning landscape and visit the graves of fascinating figures in New York and American history. This not-to-be-missed walking tour ends with a visit to the Catacombs, which are normally closed to the public.

New York City’s 49th Annual VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE

7:00PM (Live on NY1 at 8:00PM)
The Parade starts at Canal St. and 6th Avenue and goes up 6th Avenue to 15th Street on 6th Avenue.

“This year’s theme, Freedom, was inspired not by the people of New York, but by their need to experience a place where fun is the main objective; to feel joy and the freedom of being who you are,” said Jeanne Fleming the Artistic and Producing Parade Director. “Throughout history, when our country faced times of hardship, people flocked to the parade because extended the freedom to forget about whatever was going wrong and enjoy what was right in front of them, each other. As This is our parade, New York.”
